Welcome to Sisters Stella!
We make unique, one-of-a-kind wearable pieces with vintage flair, a healthy dose of whimsy and, occasionally, a wink at our Polish heritage.
Almost 40 years ago, our late grandmother, Genevieve (born Stella) began what we like to think of as a second act. After the death of our grandfather and the marriage of the youngest of her sons, she found herself with an empty house. Nurturing a lifelong love of crafting, she developed her hobby into her own business — opening a gift shop in the extension of the house. For years, she popped up at arts and craft shows throughout Western New York. Her shop functioned as a collective of sorts, featuring contributions from her daughters-in-law and us, her granddaughters. We lost her in July of 2016, but continue to feel her presence most keenly when creating. With our name and our work, we endeavor to honor her creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and joie de vivre.
Thanks for stopping by!
